CHAMPS GPO and IGS Energy Relaunch Contract for Natural Gas and Electricity
CHAMPS Group Purchasing and IGS Energy relaunched their contract for natural gas and electricity. The service area for natural gas expands outside of Ohio to include California, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, Pennsylvania and Virginia and for electricity, Illinois, Maryland and Pennsylvania. The three-year contract expires Oct. 31, 2019.
“IGS Energy first became a CHAMPS GPO contract vendor in 1998 and while the energy marketplace has changed tremendously, IGS’ commitment to CHAMPS and our membership has been constant,” said Jan Elder, director of contracting services, CHAMPS Group Purchasing. “Our new contract terms allow us to offer IGS’ natural gas and electric services to CHAMPS members throughout IGS’ service area. This expansion creates an exciting opportunity for our members to fulfill their energy needs with a competitive and independent provider.”
