LONG BRANCH, N.J.,- J.F. Kiely Construction Co., a leading utility construction company headquartered in Long Branch, New Jersey, today announced that water industry veteran David J. Applegate has joined the company as Senior Vice President of Water Resources. Mr. Applegate’s responsibilities include strengthening the Companies water resources design build services as well as developing short and long growth initiatives for our water resources engineering and construction departments.

Mr. Applegate has more than 32 years of water resources knowledge and experience in the engineering design, construction management, and operation of potable water and wastewater treatment plants, sanitary sewage pump stations, and potable water and sanitary sewer storage and conveyance systems. Throughout his impressive career, Mr. Applegate has been involved in the coordination and administration of multiple design-build projects. Mr. Applegate is a professional engineer in five states, and holds his T3 and W3 operator’s licenses in NJ. He is a graduate from Rutgers College of Engineering with a BSCE degree.
