Parsons Recognized for Work on 17 of Canada’s Largest Infrastructure Projects
PASADENA, CA – Parsons is pleased to announce that the corporation has received a platinum ranking in ReNew Canada’s 2017 Top 100 Infrastructure Projects report for its work on 17 of Canada’s largest infrastructure projects based on cost. Representing more than CAD $43 billion and spanning five provinces as well as the Northwest Territories, these 17 projects encompass railway, light rail transit, bus rapid transit, subway, highway, bridge, port, and environmental remediation market sectors.

In addition to the Giant Mine Remediation project, Parsons is engaged in nine of ReNew Canada’s reported 23 transit sector projects and seven of the 18 transportation sector projects, including the CAD $9.1 billion Eglinton Crossroads Light Rail Transit and the CAD $5 billion Southwest Calgary Ring Road. ReNew Canada’s 2017 Top 100 Infrastructure Projects list, which includes project descriptions, funding sources, and key players, shows more than a CAD $25 billion increase in project values from 2016’s CAD $161.3 billion. The energy sector represented the largest overall capital investment, while the transit sector was second and transportation was third.
