Cardno’s Jim Anspach Confirmed as President-Elect of the Utility Engineering and Surveying Institute

We are proud to announce that Cardno’s Director of Utility Market & Practice Development, Jim Anspach, was recently confirmed as the President-Elect of the Utility Engineering and Surveying Institute (UESI). UESI, the first of its kind in the world, is the ninth and newest American Society for Civil Engineering (ASCE) institute. Cardno is a founding organizational member of UESI.

Jim is an expert in Subsurface Utility Engineering. He has 38 years of experience as a project consultant, educator, researcher, and expert witness. He led the development of American Society of Civil Engineering’s (ASCE) “Standard Guideline for the Collection and Depiction of Existing Subsurface Utility Data” and has received several awards for his work in utility engineering and damage prevention. Jim is a founding governor of UESI.
