Dewberry, a privately held professional services firm, has announced that Patrick Covil, PE, CFM, LEED AP, has joined the firm’s Raleigh, North Carolina, office as a project manager. He will support the firm’s civil engineering practice, specializing in water resources, site development, and stormwater conveyance solutions for municipal, industrial, federal, and private clients.

With more than 13 years of civil engineering experience, Covil has managed water resources projects and is experienced in flood studies for public and private clients and stormwater management design and permitting. His specialties include project management, bridge and culvert hydraulic design, stormwater management plans, erosion and sediment control, drainage planning, flood studies and floodplain permitting, and stormwater control measure design. At Dewberry, he will be responsible for the scope, schedule, and budget of civil projects as well as client coordination.
