Cardno was delighted to host the Committee for Economic Development of Australia’s (CEDA) luncheon in our Melbourne office last week, where invited guests discussed the future priorities for public transport.

Chief Executive Officer of Yarra Trams, Nicolas Gindt, was the keynote speaker and shared Yarra Trams’ insights into global trends and innovations in public transport. He provided his thoughts on the future priorities for Yarra Trams and its role in Melbourne’s public transport system.

Cardno’s Area Manager – Victoria, Ralph Lowe, was the host for the event as Cardno has a significant presence delivering complex transport projects across Australia.

“With major transport projects such as the program of Level Crossing Removals and the Melbourne Metro underway, there is an increased focus on the need for a great public transport system to maintain the liveability of Melbourne while still catering for future growth. In this context, it is a real privilege for Cardno to be able to host one of the key leaders in the sector,” said Ralph Lowe.

Cardno proudly continues to partner with CEDA on a number of industry discussions with thought leaders around Australia. Our industry experts are committed to promoting gender equality through programs such as Women in Cardno, to help advance and grow careers in a supportive environment.
