Toronto, ON — Hatch is pleased to welcome Michael Lindsay as Global Director of Planning and Advisory Services, Infrastructure. As an expert in planning and financial advising for major public and private sector clients, Lindsay will play a leadership role in further strengthening the company’s enhanced, globally-connected infrastructure business.

“Michael Lindsay’s significant experience and strong track record in successful alternative service delivery arrangements will help our clients as they seek out models for effectively funding and delivering their projects and desired outcomes,” said Michael Schatz, Managing Director, Infrastructure.  “He will be a great asset as we continue to grow our global infrastructure business and sharpen our focus on the U.S. market.”

Based out of Toronto, Canada, Lindsay will lead a team mandated to find the best solutions for clients pursuing major infrastructure investment programs and projects. The team will provide advisory and consulting services for Hatch’s three market-facing infrastructure platforms: Urban Solutions, Transportation and Logistics, and Water and the Natural Environment.

Lindsay was formerly Senior Vice President, Commercial Projects at Infrastructure Ontario, and brings extensive knowledge of commercial transactions related to public infrastructure development, as well as transformative strategies using fact-based insights to create value.

“At Hatch, we bring together extensive commercial, engineering, construction, and technical know-how to meet the most complex infrastructure challenges in the world,” Schatz adds. “In Canada, we are currently providing leadership on over $30 billion of transit projects, many involving innovative and alternative delivery models.  Lindsay’s deep understanding of partnership models and the expertise of Hatch’s infrastructure teams will help our government and private sector clients make the best decisions about their infrastructure investments.”
