Mains Brings Stormwater Expertise to Gannett Fleming

Harrisburg, Pa. – P. Eric Mains, PE, has joined the Gannett Fleming water resources team as a senior project manager and leader for providing stormwater services to our municipal and private clients. He is based in the firm’s Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, office.

Mains brings more than 20 years of progressive experience serving municipal clients and providing stormwater services within the ever changing stormwater management regulatory environment. He leads and develops Gannett Fleming’s resources for stormwater design, permitting, GIS mapping and asset management, system valuation and utility fee structure programs.

“As a recognized professional in the field, Eric will engage organizations, colleagues, communities and clients to help them understand and address the critical importance that proper stormwater management plays in all our lives,” said William W. Allis, Jr., PE, a Gannett Fleming vice president, and the Water Leader for the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast Regions.

Mains holds a bachelor of science in civil engineering technology from the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown. He is a member of the Center for Watershed Protection, Lancaster County Clean Water Consortium Peer Engineering Review Committee, Pennsylvania State Association of Township Engineers, Adams County Conservation District Board of Directors and the Adams County Stormwater Technical Advisory Board. Mains also serves the Pennsylvania Stormwater Technical Workgroup, including acting as the sole author of two chapters of the draft PA Stormwater Manual.
